Cindy Sherman
I choose Rankin, Annie Liboritz and Cindy Sherman to research for this self portrait assignment because I liked the way there ideas were not too big ,other than Cindy dressing up as different characters in every image she took, she had more of a story behind hers which I liked. Whereas the images I found of Rankin and Annie were just them self’s with no real meaning behind it but there images were simple but effective and not too over the top and I will taking my self portrait shots in black and white, and experimenting with lighting, emotions in my face and movement and using inspiration for the research I looked at.
